Book I
Ky is a genetically engineered Paragon teen designed to propagate humanity after Earth’s cataclysm. When he wakes from stasis in a ship anchored to the ocean floor, Ky’s the only Paragon without memories—until he’s attacked by a bioluminescent deep-sea triton mermaid. His search for answers uncovers a web of lies, accidentally wakes the evil woman who made them, and triggers a triton attack.
Ky’s anomalies may also be the key to peace and could prevent his friends from being sacrificed on the altar of science. But in his struggle to know who to trust, he learns there’s more to the truth than just finding answers…and discovers the power and pain of being different.
